So, I talk to my nubs. This, I am sure, is reasonably normal. (I talk to the cats too). I also, however, find myself ANSWERING myself on behalf of the corgi nubs.

Me: "are you ready to go for a walk?"
Also Me: "Yes, yes! We can't wait!"

Etc.

Anyone care to vote? Nuts or not?

I talk to Noodles all the time. The best is when he "answers" back and of course you can always count on him back-talking me.

You mean i'm not the only one who tlaks to the kids?? Minnie and Scooter seem to understand just about everything i say. Corgis are just awsome dogs, but I call them my kids lol.

Nope - not nuts! I do it all the time. My friends may beg to differ but they are not corgi (or even dog) people :)

Ohhhhh yess. I do that too! (talk for them when other people talk to them.....forgot about that!) Such a relief that it's not just me! I was feeling pretty nuts!

Well it's nice to know that I am in good company..... I talk to and for the nub and even answer for her some times when the kids or close friends talk to her (I try to refrain from doing this with complete strangers)

Well, if that is a reason you would consider yourself nuts, so am I. Our babies may not understand exactly what we're saying, but they can read tone and body language. Crumpet perks her ears up and stares at me when I speak to her, she also sometimes bobs her head and wags her tail in response. So, it's better than talking to the wall.

I might be able to one-up you... Our dogs love to rip apart stuffed animals (especially to find squeakers within). When my bf is playing with them, he'll sort of do voices for the toys and say things like "Ow... that hurts" and "No... don't do that!" and it's in such cute little pathetic voices that it actually makes me feel bad for the toys when the dogs are ripping them to shreds.

He also does voices for the dogs as part of our "conversations" with them. It's pretty cute though.

Nah because you know those stubs would be saying it for themselves if they could:)

No more nuts than the rest of us!

Sooooooo relieved! : )

I've always heard that talking to your self isn't a sign of craziness, but answering yourself is...maybe not, if you're answering on behalf of your corgis!
