So our girl Luna went out potties last night, didn't act sick or sickly, no problems, and settled down for the night.

The girls still sleep in their crates because they're still little and not terribly reliable on the chewing issue.

Well, my husband and I must have slept like ROCKS last night, because when my husband got up at 5am, he started wailing, Oh LUNAAAAAA!

She had exploded from _both ends_ all over her crate! vomit and diarrhea! Poor baby! Poor husband! (with the cleaning) we can't believe she had that mass of volume in her!

Tonight he's calling her the "Luna pinata" (because she broke open all over her crate)  and of course, she has been acting/feeling perfectly normal all day.

Sheesh.  What DID she eat?

Oh yes. All better and if we hadn't seen/smelled the aftermath, we wouldn't have even known she didn't feel good! She didn't act sick either before or after!

Best we can figure, she ate something that didn't agree with her......sigh. They will do that, won't they?

Ugh..I have experienced that with our 65 lb doberman more than once so can imagine the joy (not) you had. I am going to remember the "pinata" Lol

She's been fine ever since. It's so hard to even KNOW what all they eat!...and Ellen, the only way to deal with it is to laugh!

I'm ashamed to admit....I chuckled at the "Luna pinata".....

Poor Luna! (And poor husband!) I hope she's OK.  It's so hard to keep ours from eating weird stuff, since they are so low to the ground, they can just suck up whatever they find without missing a beat!
