Wow!!!!!!!  That is some kind of a miracle! It was 116 here yesterday -- friend's car registered 122 as "outdoor temperature" at 12th Street & Glendale. And the night before last it was raining and 100 degrees at 10 p.m. I wonder how on earth he managed to survive? And on the rez...coyote heaven? Someone must have taken him in.

So very glad to learn this excellent news.

BENTLEY IS NOW HOME AS OF LAST SUNDAY

he was found on a reservation 4 miles from where he lived.

It had been just over a month. with the HOT AZ temperatures I'm glad he came home with JUST ticks and nothing more serious!

Holy mackerel! Was he taken out of your yard?

I'll print this up and post it in our park. We're a long way from Mesa, but as you say...anything's possible. Also you might want to call Vicky at Arizona Cactus Corgi Rescue: http://www.azcactuscorgirescue.com/default.aspx  She's very sharp and if someone tried to take him to a rescue organization, she may have heard about it.

Keep an eye on Craig's List, too. That's how I found the owner of the old lady who followed me and Cassie home from the park one day. She had wandered quite a long way from home, even though it was hot and she was very elderly.
