Since I'm completely new to all of this, can someone please tell me if the ears on a corgi stand up naturally? I'm wondering if my pups' ears will eventually stand up. I ask because I noticed a corgi cross with the ears "done" and since mine are 3/4 corgi, I'm hoping their ears stand on their own.
(we are now at the puppy teething stage, sharp little buggers :) )
Thanks,

Zorro's ears went up on their own around 10 weeks. Somebody on here told me if they aren't up at 16 weeks then you should consider taping them.
We used just a bit of moleskin (first aid kit item used for blisters) cut to the shape of the inside of the floppy ear for Twinkie. Worked fine.
Thanks Emily and aronna. I guess that means that it will be the responsibility of the new owners since they'll be a bit older before that happens. Unless, of course, their ears perk before 6-8 weeks. :)
Usually when teething, the ears won't want to stand up. Both during puppy teeth and adult teething stages. Ears on a pure pembroke corgi should stand up on their own. If they don't the individual owners can opt to tape them. But taping can be done a little later (don't know the exact age you tape but someone will)
Butters had one ear up for a month. It just came up at about 9 weeks. The left ear was up and down until on day he heard a high pitch noise and up it went, I did not tape because of pain but we did rub the inside a lot.
