I hate to be the grump but honestly, I don't want Corgis to become popular.  Every breed that happens to winds up suffering for it through over breeding and impulse buyers who think a living creature is a fashion statement.  Talk to Chihuahua or a Dalmatian rescue groups about what happens every time some empty headed celebrity is shown with a Chihuahua or a new Disney "101 Dalmatians" movie comes out.
