Hey guys I was just wandering if anybody knows if corgi's are prone to having problems with delivering puppies. I've done tons of research and found many different answers about the same things. This being a corgi lover site I am sure I can find answers that come from experienced people. I am very anxious and nervous, I've raised lab puppies before but never small dogs. I have been checking her temp and it dropped yesterday to 98.2 and stayed there all I was expecting puppies last night but this morning there were know puppies and I check on her periodically throughout the night. Today her temp is 99.8 and but she is still eating good and drinking good. I read many things saying when the temp drops and holds for 12 hours there should be puppies within the next 24 hours. By the way she isnt actually due until wednesday. Any input would be great I will take all the help I can get. Thanks guys.

Thanks everyone for all of the advice.Dasiy still hasn't had her puppies she is officially due tommorrow. I haven't taken her to the vet because she hasnt had any problems hopefully she wont have any problems. I could be wrong but I think she will have more than 5 puppies because she is super big. Maybe she just looks bigger because I have never bred a small breed dog. My lab was really big and she wound up having 10 pups. I will be sure and post plenty of pictures for everybody. I have been feeling her belly and it is really lumpy I can feel the puppies moving around and I believe she is dialating. The anticipation is killing me I'm ready for the little onesd to be here!!!

My foster Pem just had 5 puppies (not knowing who Daddy was I was worried) but by the xray, doc said Nature should take it's course and it did; she delivered them beautifully without any help from us. I have heard some could have problems and c-sections are not uncommon. I was so glad she was such a good Mommy; it is truly amazing to watch their instincts take over. Good luck!
