I feel for you.  Maddie goes after Moira like that.  Just all of a sudden...boom.  We haven't found the answer yet, either.  Our next move is to buy a basket muzzle for Maddie.  If I can watch them without either one getting really hurt, maybe I can see the trigger and put an end to it.  My heart goes out to you.

I keep getting in the middle of their tussles, and bit. My arm and shoulder got it the worst the other night. My cheek and neck was a few months ago. I just can't and don't know what sets them off. It's so random, and 90% of the time, they are so well behaved.  There is never a need for discipline with Nutty, and Cinny is just so overly playful. No aggression day to day...it's just rare moments when they go OFF. I just am in the middle and in the process...either of me trying to stop them, or just get out of the way, I get bit!  Have read about NILF...but I don't see how I can stop the random fights, if I can't tell what starts them.
