If the food intake is restricted (165g / 6-7 ozs of high fibre kibble) and the poos are getting larger (and they were never small!), then QED the corgi must be shrinking....and he is: big boned (that euphemism cuts across species) Dougal has lost a kilo (2.2 lbs) so far. There may actually be a waistline lurking under that fluffy coat and his belly doesn't appear to be quite as close to the ground. Now if only I could apply the human equivalent to myself!

2.2 pounds is a lot when compared to the weight of a dog.
Good on the weight loss! I had to get 19 lbs off Max when we got him...he was 54 lbs. And he is a big boned fluffy, a good weight for him is 35lbs. To look at him you would think he was over-weight because of all the fur but you can feel his ribs under a thin layer of muscle. Keep up the good work!
