So this is what I have learned today:
- Corgis have tons of energy, I put her in her crate for bed at 9PM. She would whine, let out a huff, and constantly turn and look at me while I watched TV. I just put her back to bed at 1130PM after playing tug of war, heel nip chases, beaver toy on her back wrestling, and attempting clicker training. Now she is quietly lying down in her crate (pics below).
- Don't expect your corgi to be potty trained on the first day. I got her to pee and poop on her pads all throughout the day with only three accidents. The last one coming right after i took her off the pad after peeing, amazing how much more she had on reserve :(
- Corgi girls leave pee spots around the house even after peeing. She would use the bathroom, leave her pad, and wander around. Every time she sat she would leave a little pee stain on the floor. Good times. Hopefully she outgrows this.
- You can get a corgi to eat and focus on eating by putting treats between layers of her regular kibble. In 20 minutes she cleared out close to 1.5 cups of food.
- Corgis eat their poop if you are not quick enough to clean up after them. :( On her last poop of the day before bed, she decide to recycle the whole thing before I could change the pad out. Then she decided it was time to play but I instead decided it was time for her to enjoy a big bowl of water in her playpen :)

Finally asleep.
9PM is too early for sleep, let's play :)
