Falling into autumn

Been awhile since I posted last so I just thought I'd share with what's been going on around here. Nothing new has really been happening. Murphy is still amazing. He's such a sweet boy and I can't imagine my life without him. Fall is coming and I'm excited to get him into the leaves again this year. I'm really excited for it to get here. We're still strongly thinking about getting another pup once we are able to. Although sometimes I think one is enough, but I do think Murphy would love having a playmate. I guess that just means we aren't ready yet. Our neighbors came by last night and we made dinner and just hung out. They brought their Scottish terrier (Bentley) with them. Murphy and Bentley just have a blast playing. I'm so glad he's good with other dogs. I don't think he's a fan of most bigger dogs though and I'm not too sure why. I'm guess maybe he feels threatened or something. Again I forgot to take pictures of the two of them, but I do have some from earlier in the day that I should post sometime since its been awhile since I've posted new ones. He was so played out though. He passed out right after they left last night and on the weekends we leave his crate open so he can come up to the bed in the morning if he chooses and he usually does, but not this morning. So today he's just kinda lounging around. Lord knows its a good day for it. That's all I've got for now. I should post more, but everything is usually pretty low key and laid back around here.

Geri- Yeah, he always amazes me. Right now, we're trying to teach him what "home" is. We'll take him for walks around the neighborhood and when we get closer to the house I always say "Let's go home!" and he takes off and leads me to our house.

I'm just always so busy I don't get much chance. Also know what u mean about getting another dog, gotta make sure u r ready gor the whole puppy stage etc. We always r thinking of things to improve teddys life and we actualy went to the pound and saw the sweetest dachshund today. Very loving and great around dogs etc. So tommarrow teddy is getting a playmate:) we r excited as teddy loves playing with oother dogs. Best part is he's 1yr old and potty trained! Haha. Look forward to hear if u do get another dog, its always exciting
