With the winter season having hit South Dakota with full force, it was time to find the apropriate gear to face the elements with. Mt long Land's End coat I got for a present from my boyfriend last year: check! lined fleece gloves with the leather grips on the fingers: check! My favortie piece of winter weather attire, the 180º ear muffs: check!
And that's why I'm making this post. Those earmuffs are the best things around for cold weather, especially if it's coupled with blowing wind. The 180º brand earmuffs wrap around the back of your head (or under the hair) and cup over the entire ear to protect them. They're adjustable, warm, and are excellent at blocking wind. I'll never buy any other earmuffs again. The only annoyance I can find with them is that if you wear glasses for vision correction or sunglasses they tend to put a bit of pressure on the bows of the frames, making them snug feeling and slightly distorting vision through them until you find a good balance between glasses, head, and 180ºs.
I'd like to know what your favorite piece of winter weather gear is. Leave a comment in the section below, and we might just find some new favorties to go try on this year! Happy now drift hopping! It's Riley's favorite winter activity.
