Nothing was wrong with Eddy! The doctor was really sweet -though the front desk ladies seemed to think he was pompous- and he gave us a free trial of Sentinel, informing us that he was just at a flea conference and that fleas around this area are developing a tolerance to Advantix. He said Eddy's red-rimmed eyes are probably caused by allergy season here in Portland, and the fact that he's always dragging his stubby corgi body through tall grass. Eddy still had some scabs leftover from his littermates, and the doctor peeled them off *wince* and tested them for skin mites. None. He also assured us that ear mites are not prevalent around here, and that his ear gunk is just gunk, not mite droppings like I had wondered out loud.

Eddy's going to get his adult coat here in a month or so! Poor him... it's going to start getting really hot... A concern: Eddy hasn't ate breakfast in 3 days. He just sniffs it and walks away. He'll devour his lunch and dinner. Does this mean he's ready to go down to 2 meals a day?? I didn't think we'd do this for at least another 3 months.

Tomorrow we have a play date scheduled with my best gal pal's new puppy (copy cat, right?). It's a... well, a beagle had puppies with a half-lab, half Aussie shepherd, and out came my friend's new pet.
