Hi - It has been a few weeks now since Riley passed away it has been very hard on us and we miss him so much and we will always cherish the memories we had with him..He was our first Pembroke Welsh Corgi and he was part of our family for 10 years..He brought so much joy to our lives and helped us in so many ways...

We found out a few months ago that Riley was very ill with diabetes and he had to start having insulin shots twice and a day and he did not like them at all..His kidneys started to shut down at the end and he was in so much pain and we knew by the look in his eyes it was his time.. We will love Riley and miss him terrible but he will always be with us forever..

We did not expect to find another special little boy so fast ,but we did and his name is Toby a 19 month old red and white Pembroke Welsh Corgi.. We started searching the rescues and shelters online but we just didnot see the right fit for our family so we thought we would wait alittle longer but yet keep searching.. When we thought that it was gonna be awhile- a friend of mine went on Craigslist and found this little corgi only a few miles from home here , so we called and we set a time to go see him and well we knew he was our new Corgi angel.. Toby is such a special little guy and he has been through so much in his short life - this is his 3rd home in a year, the first home kept him a crate all the time and would never let him out, then he was placed in another home where he was abused even more..He has been with us now for a week and he is a totally different dog..He is eating great and running around playing and having a blast with the cats..He is very good with kids as well..He loves to ride in the car and go for walks..Loves to cuddle and he is learning to play with his squeaky toys.. He is very timid and skiddish yet but he is coming around more every day.. Funny he is so complete opposite of Riley- but yet alot alike in some ways.. We truly feel that Riley sent this little guy to us cause he knew he was special and he needed a good home.. We love this little guy so much already and we look so forward for many years with him as well .. He is all caught up now on his shots and we also had him neutured already - he is soar but doing well .. We hope to get this little guy out this summer to some Corgi meet ups and we hope to meet many other corgis and their owners.. These special little dogs truly have touched my heart and I hope everyone knows how special they are and the joy then can bring to your home..
