So this past eighth was the third month mark of Ziggy living with us, (and the hubbs and I two year anniversary since we first decided on being a couple,) but it was also, of course, the day that Skittles passed away.

I didn't get to make Ziggy any spaghetti, like I have the past couple times. We didn't have all of the ingredients, and honestly, I was too much of a mess to deal with making the spaghetti if we did.

Today, I tried to make up for it, at least a bit, in a way and gave him some boiled chicken. He also got about half a cup more than he usually gets. (For his food with his weight, he can get between two and a half to two and three fourths of a cup, the back of the bag says and I usually give him about two cups.)

He'll still have to get his spaghetti, I just dunno when yet haha.

Things with him have been great. He's kinda better at walking, but I haven't been making him go lately as it's been really hot and he seems to be dying (not literally) from just laying around the house in this weather.

As soonas it finishes cooling down, though, he's in for it haha.

Ohh, I almost forgot. I think Ziggy has some fame in his blood.

For those of you who don't know who you're looking at in that top left corner of the photograph, it is Sundae; Ronald McDonald's dog in the animated movies that I used to watch as a kid:P He even has short Corgilike legs!

See!?!?! (Pic Link)

Kymii, I'm so sorry to hear about Skittles. Ziggy will comfort you during this time.

I also think Ziggy does have same famous genes in him. Noodles is similar to Ziggy right now...they have all this fur and the sudden onset of warm weather is too much. I take Noodles walking and if he feels like jogging a bit, then we'll jog. I let him make the call. He also likes to stop and cool his belly in every shady spot known to man (sigh). Once full blown summer hits, Noodles lives the life of luxury in the AC and would prefer to stay indoors than head outside, but we still get our 2 jogs in. The long one is very early in the morning (about 4:45) and then we do a lighter jog in the evening (about 8).

LOL Definitely a relative! Glad to see you are putting the pieces back together and moving forward with your life. Lots and lots of hugs to you and Ziggy!
