Well it's been a long time since I've been on here we have been busy painting and other things though this last week Sydney's Blue Mountains and other parts of the state are in the grip of the worst bushfires in decades!!!. We are in Kurrajong Hills in the lower Blue Mountains on the Bells line of Road the fires got within 15 Kilometres of us it was quite scary at one stage we thought we were going to have to evacuate if the bush fire broke it's containment lines we had the cars packed and the dogs ready to go at a moments notice!. our road was closed 20 minutes from us the only trucks and cars were the fire trucks police and rural bush fire fighters!. for now the threat is over though the fires are still burning they are being contained. there are something like 65 fires burning and 200 homes lost in the blue mountains and we are still a month out from the bush fire season!!. Everything is so dry very little rain some is expected this weekend!.

well we are lucky 200 families have lost everything but the human spirit is amazing and the generosity of people is amazing!. I didn't care if the house went up we are fully insured I was more concerned about Paul Sam & Oscar they are my 1st priority possessions can be replaced human lives and animals can't.
