Bugsy is a year & a third now. He's been home during the week for almost a month with no incident. Except...

Yesterday there was a piece of cardboard within reach (what is it with cardboard?)

Last week he had an "accident" & felt ashamed, but I told him he was a good boy because for some reason he thought maybe he should go in the bathtub. (talk about easy clean-up!)

I just keep the bedroom door closed or else he'll lay in my bed all day.

We have a really good walk (45-60min) Every Morning and Every Night. We walk extra when I don't have to work.

I know he just lays around all day - by how much hair is on the couch & because he is always laying in his crate when I come home. He doesn't even rush out; acts like I'm interrupting nap time. I also know because when I'm home on the weekends, he's pretty lazy.

I think I'll put in a corgi-flap for him next to the front door. He likes to sit on the porch & watch the world happen, and keep the fox from getting too close ;-)

well Bev, he doesn't seem all that laid back when there's any action goin on! Last night we encountered a family with a Brittainy & those 2 ran up a storm! Plus Bugsy had at least 3 swims in the pond & 4 or 5 dips in the creek (he thinks he's an otter sometimes). Followed by the nightly 30 min tug session (complete with viscious sound effects)

Sounds like he is being a really good boy! The more "laid back" corgis are more reliable sooner just because they sleep more.
