Honda to discontinue Element after 2011 model year

I've owned my element since 04 and these little boxes are indisposible for hauling my corgi's in crates, grocery's,and large objects that I might have needed to borrow a truck for other wise. I'm very sad about this and a little freaked out what happen's when my poor little element can't go anymore or god forbid someone crashe's into me? I'll have to buy a minivan yuck =(

I just can't say enough wonderfull things about these ugly little bread box shaped cars except that this was the first "purpose" car I've ever bought and for 7 yrs it's served me well and now is going to have to serve me forever!!!

Comment by Judith Andre on January 29, 2011 at 2:59am: I love my Subaru Baja. It's a great Corgi car, or "cruck" as I like to call it and alas, they discontinued it also. The back seat folds down into a kind of high platform with no gap between it and the front seat so they can't fall off the seat and are high enough to see out the window when sitting. In addition, it has a short pickup type box with a pipe extender over the tail gate and a pass through into the back seat. And it's all wheel drive and drives like a car, not a truck. What's not to like? Oh, and did I mention it's yellow and silver? I just pray nobody crashes into me....

Maybe I'll get lucky and I'll be able to find a good low mileage used one. Or maybe Honda can bring them back due to popular demand. I see so many of them out on the road.
