Well, it has been a week today since Kali got spayed.  She is raring to go and acts like she has never had anything done. Of course she still has her stiches in so she still has her cone on (we get the stiches out on Tuesday) and orders from the vet to stay calm.  She had a little fluid under the skin which came from too much activity. So as a result, she is  being carried up and down the stairs - on a leash when we go outside and on a leash inside when she gets too rambunctious.  I can't wait for all this to be over so she can go back to running, jumping and being Kali. The swelling from the fluid is almost gone so the quiet seems to be working but boy is it ever hard to enforce - she is just so quick and before you can turn around she has jumped up somewhere.
