Late Post: Corgi Meetings at the Dog Park!

So this past Sunday we went to the beach. The Sunday before THAT we went to the dog park (my youngest sister and I). So that's how far behind I am.

Kim had sent out a message saying she'd be there if anyone wanted to show. We were a little late so we got there right as they were leaving, but she stuck around a bit because no one can resist a corgi puppy in a new bandana! Hopefully we can have a meet-up at her house as she so kindly offered. Pooka wasn't really being friendly (though she was quite happy to steal Max's water),

but I loved Kim's trio of corgi bottoms!

We met a "skeleton dog" who was apparently deaf

An italian greyhound girly

of course, Max (I love that he loves the camera!)

A towering Great Dane

A funny (and thirsty) lab

A poodle who was "too good" for Pooka

A super cute Boston Terrier pup who Pooka thought SHE was too good for

Some australian shepherd mixes

And I just had to laugh at this shih tsu with purple bows being confronted by a husky

There was a young woman with a red/white corgi whom I don't think is on the site, and we tried to get Pooka and her dog to play, but I guess her dog is quite possessive and it only wanted to bark and chase Pooka away.

And then ANOTHER set of corgis showed up (also, I don't think they were from here) a red and white female, and then a tricolor pup with huge ears.

They were more interested in walking their tubby butts than playing =P (I'm just mad cuz they commented on how skinny Pooka was)

I've been worried about making Freya fat because my mom has a running score of 3 fat dogs and constantly accuses me of not feeding Freya enough. Thank god my boyfriend knows what healthy looks like and I'm constantly asking him his opinion on Freya and her weight. I either need to get a raincoat for her or wait for the rain to quit.

That Italian greyhound that looks like Zero from...Nightmare looks like an albino. Ooh, it would be awesome if her name was Zero! It would fit so perfect :D. Oh and Ms. Pooka looks beautiful in her bandana! I need to get one for Freya for the summer....or I suppose I could just make her one. :D.
