Lesson Learned! Bored Corgi + Distracted Mom=Mangled Cell Phone

Well, I've just learned a very valuable lesson about what will happen if Grover hasn't had a walk and I'm distracted. I was sitting on the coach playing Guitar Hero. Yes I'm 26 and was pumped to get Guitar Hero for X-Mas...I'm a dork. Grover was whiney because he wanted his evening walk and I was just too damned distracted...one minute he's chewing his Nyla, the next...my cell phone. He certainly got the walk once I realized my error...but not before he had a time out in his crate!!
My phone still works and it doesn't appear to be missing any parts, so hopefully he didn't swallow anything! He's nearly a year old and he's not chewed up anything that wasn't his in a LONG time...but I guess that's what I get for acting like 15 year old boy, glued to the TV!!
Ahhh, the joys of being a dog owner! :) The excitement never ends!

How to use a rolled newspaper to correct your dog. Take an old newspaper- roll it into a tight log- stand in front of your dog- hit yourself on the head with the rolled newspaper repeating "I forgot to watch my dog. I forgot to watch my dog" continue doing this until your dog stops laughing at you.

(Seriously- they've chewed the car when ignored too long....)
