Machete’s February BarkBox Arrived!
Today Machete got his 2nd BarkBox and it is super duper awesome!!! Especially since this time we got to open the box with our puppy, and he got to enjoy all the treats immediately.
Look at all this awesome puppy swag!
This one shipped really fast, I basically got the tracking info yesterday and BOOM! here it is!
The first nifty treat was actually TWO treats! Two sample sizes of treats from Wet Noses (in the Mint-Carob & Dogranola). Very excited to try these out, but Machete is replete with treats right now, so we’re probably going to hang onto these for a wee bit.
Next, what is undoubtedly Machete’s favorite item from the whole box (so far), this really awesome faux-newspaper toy from PetQwerks! It’s squeaky, it’s crinkly, it’s plushy and adorable. Machete literally spent all afternoon playing with it.
Then there was some N-Bone super antioxidant dental chew sticks, for National Pet Dental Health Month! And just in time, soon, because we’re pretty sure that Machete is teething already.
And finally there was this terrifying rope bear thing from Aussie Naturals. Although I should also point out that Machete totally loved this thing, too. And since we realized that rope toy ends can be soaked in water and frozen to soothe teething puppy gums, we’re totally ok with this monstrosity.
ALSO, there was a $10 off coupon to wag.com, so double score!!! Machete totally made out like a little fuzzy bandit on this BarkBox!

I've also been toying with (no pun intended) signing up for the bark box. I had never heard of it until joining this website. Thank you for posting pictures it's nice to see what you really get. I think I'd be as excited to get it as Foxy.

Ziggy love, love, LOVES Wet Nose! Or he did at least in the Pumpkin flavor and man, they were so large I could break one into four smaller treats :D

@Heather. I thought about that, too. I've been tallying the actual cost of everything in each box vs. the cost of the box, and so far we're coming out with a great deal. Plus, he likes it. If you sign up via someone who already has BarkBox, you get $5 off your subscription, if that helps. My link is above, or I'm sure someone else here would like to provide it for you as well. the one thing I really like about them is their customer service/employees are really, really nice and helpful. oh, and the emails with adorable dog gifs in them, that wins me over every time :)

I've been trying to decide if I want to sign up for BarkBox or not. The decision for me is based on whether I spend that much on treats/toys a month and if Ellie would even like what comes in the box. Having pictures and descriptions is really great. Thanks for posting about this.

I really enjoy my barkbox too! But I've already killed the aussie natural toy... it looked like a voodoo doll so I needed to be done with it. Unfortunately, I always get one toy different from the East coast barkboxers. This time I got a treat dispensing ball instead of the newspaper toy. :( And last month I got an extra treat pack instead of the peanut... I guess you guys are just lucky.
