Machete's first bark box!!! YAY!

today machete's first bark box arrived! so exciting!  it's full of awesome stuffs.

still got 10 more days until we bring machete home (and somehow i'm not screeching uncontrollably?) so we're just finishing up our puppy prep.

the bark box was awesome. it had this really amazing little toy octopus that i just love!

and a ruff dawg wee-nut:

and a curly bully stick, which, i'm still not sure how i feel about bully sticks...

and yumzies natural peanut butter treats!

totally awesome box this month, yay!!! i can't wait to try out all this stuff on machete and see how he likes it.  i think going forward we're going to bump up to the medium sized box, but since he's just a tiny, snuggly puppy, we got small this time.

get your own bark box for your own puppy, here, too!

we started with a first box "small" size, but when I talked to the people at barkbox they said medium would work better as the puppy grows, and the best part is you can change sizes all the time, so yay!  small seems right for a puppy now, i can't wait till we move up to medium, though.

Thanks for sharing the bark box info.  I've never heard of it, but definately signing up for it.  I wasn't sure about the bully stick either, but I have to tell you it's really helped Foxy and us with her excessive chewing.  She only gets one for the whole weekend as a treat and I take it away when it gets real small so she doesn't swallow it.

Thanks for the great tip, just bought a bark box for a friend with a new rescue beagle, and a subscription for Bogart too of course! https://barkbox.com/r/48lyyXotDU/

I wanted to get her sooner but we figured waiting for the 8 week mark would be best. Plus it allowed me time to save up money to slowly pay off the bill rather then doing it all at once. I really look forward to getting her finally though; the waiting is terrible and I'm so not good at it lol.

The box sounds interesting, i might have to look into it.

Depends on what kind of barkbox you get and if you sign up for 6-months in advance or like, one at a time, but roughly $17-$29 a month. I used to have birchbox, for myself, but that got annoying and also dog stuff is better!

I'm picking up Azura on the second of February and i know how you feel. We went and ordered a small hand full of toys for her to play with when she gets here, and so far I'm pretty sure i have gotten more use out of them then she will but that's ok. I used the squeaky toy to thoroughly annoy my girl friend and her cat over the weekend and i have been playing with the ball none stop.

Just curious but how much do the bark boxes cost?
