To Jenny: It's mostly luring since he seems to react faster when he sees my hand moving. Herding dogs are all about the eyes!

I watched yesterday and was impressed! I have no idea how you train some of those things. Do you do mostly free shaping or luring?

To Bogart: it depends on the difficulty of the trick. The time it takes for him to learn ranges from 1 training session up to 15+ training sessions. Actually I forgot to film those tricks haha. He knows how to fetch a number of things (paper,leash,clicker,tissue,remote,etc.) I have tried teaching him to fetch dog treats which has taken awhile since they are so tempting to eat right up ;P

Thank you, awesome job Napoleon! How long does it take you to teach him a new trick? Have you tried teaching him to fetch different objects?
