After months of Chris making fun of me for my breed of choice.. he has finally caught Corgi fever!!!
First, I should mention that we are staying to South Carolina and currently working towards getting our own property. I mentioned to Chris that after everything is settled and we have a nice fenced in yard for Chase, I would like to add another Corgi to our little family. He laughed and picked on me about having a "Corgi farm."
While on an evening walk last week, Chris and I started talking about my plan to add another Corgi and he FINALLY came out and admitted that he would also like to have another Corgi!! I couldn't believe it!!! He actually caught the Corgi fever. He couldn't have just one Corgi, he actually wants another!
I was so thrilled to hear this news. However, Chris is leaning more towards a Cardigan and I am set on a fluffy, red and white, female Pem. Specific, I know. But I know what I want. Lol
SO there is only one solution, we get one of each.
Yes, it may sound crazy but with enough property I know it wouldn't be a problem.
For right now though, it is just a plan and those change all the time.
We won't be getting another Corgi monster for at least 9-12 months.
I am just thrilled that Chris has finally come down with Corgi fever. He will kill me for telling on him, but a couple of hours ago I found him out on the front porch with his phone using the internet (which is hard to get out in the sticks where we're staying) I asked him what he was doing and he suspiciously answered "nothinnnggg"
So after wrestling the phone away to see what he was hiding (because he doesn't usually hide things) I discovered that he was looking at pictures of Corgis online. He used a few to help him better draw a picture of our Chase. How sweet!
LMAO Nope, you really can't just have one.

Cindi & Twinkie- I really want to put even more research into the breeder than I did with Chase. He is from an amish breeder two hours away from us so the only info I could get from him was over a cell phone. No website or pictures. But when we got there to meet Chase, he was so happy and playful that I had to have him anyway. He was also the last of the litter and a mismark (which I like because he's unique). However, when I got there I found out that his parents didn't even have names. This bothered me because it shows that he didn't even care enough to give them names.
So, since I am looking for a specific dog do you have any suggestions. It's hard to find breeders in our area, we're in S.Carolina so I've been looking in SC and GA

As "mature" corgi parents we just love our boys.  They travel with us, (Chepstow is the highlight of every RV park)and we often comment that retired life would really be different (boring) without these two characters.

We started with a red and white fluffy girl Pem and Matt (who was not a fan initially) said she is probably the sweetest dog we ever had.  He has always loved Labs and has not had one in the twenty years we have been married.  Last year he okayed corgi number two and Logan is HIS boy.  There is something about corgis that are irresistible!  PS-If you are looking for such a specific dog you should start putting out feelers months before you are ready.  You never know when the perfect dog will fall into your lap.  The circumstances involved in getting Logan are close to unbelievable!

So funny, my hubby is not a huge dog lover, but he LOVES Story. She is the first one he talks to when he gets home. He even gave her couch privileges the 2nd day we had her! I was shocked the other day when HE said he wants another one! Corgis are definitely addicting :)

Haha nobody can resist a corgi!! My boyfriend and I always say we will get a second dog when get a house, and he has always wanted a red Siberian Husky. But now that we have Zorro he said he might just want to get another corgi!! They're adorable and their personalities are just too hard to resist!
