Need to part with 2 beautiful tri corgis

Hello everyone,

It is with a sad heart that I have to announce that I am currently going through a very hard time at work right now and am experiencing a major cut in pay. So, with that being said, I have a 4 year old tri female and a 1 year old tri male (both are pem's) that I have less than 2 weeks to find good homes for (free). I was having issues a while back with the male always pulling puppy stuff around the female, but that has completely stopped and they are best friends now. I have all the grooming equipment (nail cutters, drummel, etc..) as well as leashes, collars, registration tags, current shots, stairs, food bowls, water dispenser and all paperwork from AKC. They are both fixed. Once again, I am very upset that this is happening, but I need to find a good home for the 2 of them. My number is (951)265-8739. Once again, I am not looking to sell my dogs to anyone, but just need to find someone who can (best scenario) take them both. If I have to split them up then I will have to do what I have to do. Thanks.......

Your Corgis are beautiful.  I am so sorry you have to give them up.  Good luck to you all.

Good evening,

Have you found a home? I have a 2 yr old f pem, and would love another and my neighbor is also looking for a corgi. I am so sorry for your hardships-I can't imagine how hard this is for you...

Where are you? If in SoCal, You could try BARK rescue in Simi Valley. They have a wonderful foster program and do an excellent job of placing Corgis, even older ones. I would strongly recommend that if you end up on Craigslist, be very careful of who gets them. Some dogs have come to a bad end that way. If it is someone local, please ask for vet reference from any potential adopter, and ask to see the home. I am not kidding. It may sound silly, but it's not, trust me. I also echo the thought about Corgi Rescues of America on Facebook as a resource.

If you are willing to work with a rescue then you should put them up on Corgi Rescues of America facebook page-not that it assures they will go to a rescue-they could go to a foster home or even to their forever home that way. You do have to be willing to work with rescues though, in case.

I shared this on a couple Corgi pages on facebook, but not that one since I don't know if you are willing.

If you don't have a facebook or don't want to post them yourself, I can for you, but I think it would be cool if you did because you would see that everyone on that page is Corgi crazed and loooooooooooooooooves them..

I'm sorry about your hard times.

I'm so sorry.  :(  If I lived in your area I would gladly take one, but I'm afraid I'm on the opposite side of the country.  I hope you find someone soon!

So sorry, good luck!

Oh no, I didn't know that Guy. That is really unfortunate. :(( I hope the PWC Club of your area can help you find homes that will be a suitable replacement for your two furkids. Best of luck in this trying search. :(

I suggest you contact the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of So. California.  They have people there who will be happy to work with you in finding the best possible home for your two pals.

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that. :( I echo Jennifer's idea of finding someone to foster them while you can get your situation back together... I would never be able to part with my dog for good, even in dire straits.
