I had a bit of trouble tonight. Mum & Daddy went away for a little while (it seemed like forever) and I had to stay in my bin. I slept for a little while but I could hear (and when I stood up I could see) Lily lying beside the bin. I tried to get her to help me escape but she just looked at me; smiling all the while. I must admit I was a little mad at them when they came home -- even though Mum made me the best dinner right away. First I pottied by the back door even though I'd also been outside. Both Mum & Daddy scolded me and they weren't smiling! I saw Lily looking on with a knowing look. Then, when they weren't looking I pooped in the same spot they'd just scolded me about. What a ruckus! Well, just so, I thought -- don't leave your girls alone!

Later, though, Mum played with both me and Lily -- she threw (her) ball one way down the kitchen floor and threw my chewer the other (into the dining room). When I tried to run back past her to see if Lily would play, she would catch me and tell me how smart I was. I think she thought I was bring the chewer back to her! We played for a long time. Lily still crabs at me but Mum told me that she would probably treat me better when I looked more like a corgi (when both ears are up) -- Lily is quite the snob.

Then Matt & Jessica came over. I LOVE Jessica! I gave her huggies and kissies all over her face. Then I got so tired. I crawled under the hem of the drapes in the corner and listened to them talking and laughing until they had to go and Daddy picked me up and put me in the bin for bed.

It was a long day and now I see I mustn't be wicked about pottying in the house -- I don't like to see Mum grumbling and scrubbing the carpets when she could be playing with me!

Lily...many of us have suffered the 'new" little brothers and sisters. I use to get so upset when my little brother did things that us well behaved corgi's know are wrong. But my Mom and Dad just say my brother is their funny wild and crazy tri. He has been my brother for 3 1/2 years and I do love him. (don't tell him I said that)
Love, Chepstow
