Does anyone have any suggestions as to why KC is suddenly peeing on the carpet? It's not a lot of pee, just a little puddle, and I know we take her outside to potty frequently enough. She's done it 3 times so far (twice at my husband's grandma's house and once just now at our house) but we never see her do it. We've had her since August 15th, and these 3 accidents have happened since this last weekend. (She's 2 years old FYI.) I think she knows she did something bad, because when my husband found it, he said she crawled away on her belly like she was ashamed. (He didn't spank her, just made an angry noise of discovery, then put her outside.) Thoughts?

UPDATE: KC is fine, no UTIs or bladder stones, etc. The vet said it's probably just something hormonal related to her spay last month. He said sometimes they just let a little pee out without even realizing it. He gave her some urinary inconsistancy pills. She's had no problems since the last time, so she's fine. :)

Grrrr, we FINALLY got an appointment set for her for this Wednesday, but with a different vet.
I had a certain vet recommended to me by one of my co-workers who said she has been going to him for 25 years! I called last Wednesday, no answer, so I left a message. I waited all day Thursday, still no return call. So I called back late afternoon, and no answer again. I waited until Friday morning to call when someone FINALLY answered. An angry-sounding woman who said the vet is no longer taking new patients because he is retiring soon. That would have been nice to know! At least leave that information on the clinic voicemail or have someone return my call to tell me. UGH! So after checking the reputations of my other local vet clinics, I finally got ahold of someone and set the appointment for this Wednesday.

My husband is taking her to the vet today so hopefully she'll be happy & accident-free soon!

Me too. Seanna had that problem whenever she had a UTI, which was frequently until we started keeping her hair trimmed around her urethra opening.
