There will be no need to go to court over the incident, because the neighbor is going to jail. I rather not air out other people's dirty laundry, but I am glad this is behind us.

Wynstan has had no accidents in 3 weeks. I am so proud of him. He got play with my brother's German Shepherd today, and they did great as always. I am sure Wynstan thinks he is three times bigger than her.

I actually have some excellent news and things are actually going my way for the first time in a long time. This summer I will be making a road trip to Seattle, but unfortunately Wynstan won't be able to make it with me. Looking at apartments, putting in some applications and check out the universities there. If I am lucky I will be moving that way by the end of summer.

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear everything is working out so well now. Seattle is a wonderful place. I've been there 3 times and have always dreamed of moving out that way. Sounds like Wynstan is in for some good times ahead!

Alabama it ain't. Often wet and cool, but it does not really rain all the time. It pizzles. Wynstan won't mind, but your raincoat will take longer to dry out. You just get used to feeling like a wet dog, and spending a lot of time wiping of dirty wet paws. There are dry spells (July-Sept). Traffic is awful. Mountains are great. The city is pretty crowded. If you have a choice of locations, check out the off-leash dog areas. Green Lake is a nice place to walk (2.8 mile loop). There are many rather spectacular peaks that have trails right to the summit, former USFS fire lookouts.

I'm glad that's been taken care of and you can now breath a sigh of relief. I hope your plans of moving to Seattle work out. Best of luck!

I just got caught up with the incident in your other blogs. How scary! But I'm glad Wynstan is ok and that the neighbor is suffering consequences. Sky's best friend is a Pit Bull, but when dogs are raised in poor conditions without a leader it is no surprise that these Pit Bulls were aggressive. I hope you can move away some place safer soon! Wynstan is a beautiful dog. ^_^
