Another good reason. We pretty much just walk around our block (which isn't very big) a couple of times whenever my health allows me, so I have water for the dogs for a quick refresh between rounds.

Be very mindful of that in the summertime when standing puddles can contain mosquito larvae.
Oh good! You know, many years ago, I never thought about letting my dog drink in a puddle after a rain, no matter where it was. You're taking your dog a walk, their thirsty, you like them drink out of a puddle. Then, no big deal......now, holey smoley!!!! What was I thinking then!!!!!
Please be careful where they drink the water from. Especially if it's near the end of someones driveway. It may contain antifreeze that has leaked from the cars and the rain rinsed it down to the street.
