Randy is officially home with us. YAY! So far only one mishap, Leo pushed Randy into the sidewalk and he hurt his little head..he seems fine but he really cried so I am worried sick. Will be keeping a close watch on him tonight. He is seeing the vet tomorrow so will let the vet know what happened. I did not end up getting Rowdy (well not yet anyway). Someone was coming to look at him this evening and I don't want to hog all the good Corgis. The lady may not want him so perhaps we will still get him. It might be for the best as it is hard to give just one pup all that he needs in time and training (and love and play). With Leo being still pretty young it might be a better idea to wait until Leo is 2 and Randy is at least 1 before getting a third Corgi. Other than Leo still being to rough (mostly it is just his size as he is 5 times Randy's weight) in playing with Randy all is going well. I have to referee to keep them from any more potentially serious injuries. Thank goodness for my vacation time as it will take all of it to get this crew on track. I still believe you can never have too many Corgis.

You can see that Leo and Randy are Packer fans..at least mom is. Leo's favorite blanket that he gets to take out of his crate. Both boys have crate blankets that were made by my mum...Gone from us but not forgotten.

Two comments! First I told my husband that I had to have one of each color and then I would have to start on the cardis :D He says no.......discussion is tabled for now but watch out when I get moved out of town lol.
Second, I am sure Randy is ok, when Taz first came home he had a few mishaps. Mostly from his big sister (he still cries and wets himself if she growls at him lol) And I am ashamed to admit he fell off of my bed once when he was little because I couldn't grab him fast enough and then when I picked him up to check on him he bailed out of my arms. It was a VERY stressful day in our house that day. But he is six months old today and he is fine.

That reminded me -- one day at the dog park, a woman pulled up (our dog park is a huge field), opened the car door and six Corgis tumbled out! I almost cried, I was laughing so hard. She said she'd gotten a boy and girl from different breeders and was planning to breed them -- only they got themselves together a little sooner than she'd planned. She'd had a litter of 6, but her husband wouldn't let her keep them all, so she'd sold 2 to neighbors (so she could keep an eye on them) and kept four. I was SO JEALOUS!!! It was like a clown car of Corgis!

And I'm sure Randy's little noggin is fine, he's just a baby and they do dramatize things!

When we went to the breeder to get Izzy we pulled into the drive and there were about 15 corgis at the fence barking HELLO and in the house there were 5 or 6 greeters(corgis). I said to the breeder "This is my dream come true and my husband's worst nightmare"! She laughed and said "There used to be only three before my husband passed away". My hubby told me not to get any ideas! My house would be full of them too but he keeps me from going too crazy. Your puppy is adorable!
