I am updating from my phone so this will be shorter. I got to see Callie again today and was thrilled to see the improvement. She walked out to see me and was so excited she tried to jump up on me. They told me it was time for her walk and I could take her as long as she came back within a few minutes. We strolled around the building and she just kept giving me the 'i love you so much' look.
You wouldn't have been able to tell she just had a major surgery. The vet said she ate some and they are waiting to see how it goes (her first time actually eating since the surgery.) Needless to say I am so happy. We still have to pray her intestines hold up but she is showing good signs!

Alright Callie! She is obviously a very tough little girl and I am hoping it will help her beat this.

I also posted some pics from today! I swear she was happy despite her look in the pics. She isn't very good with cameras.

I just spent some time catching up with your blogs. I am sorry that I missed what was going on, because I want to give you and little Callie my support and prayers! I also went through cancer and major surgery with Algy, and I understand the roller coaster ride of emotions. Please keep us posted as to what happens next, and give that Callie a hug from us when you see her next. It is good to hear that she is showing good signs. We will be thinking of you and Callie!!
