After combing through all my pictures of Doris Daylily for the calendar contest, I couldn't decide between two. One was of Doris' formative days, when she sat down in the front yard and chewed on a fallen leaf, and the other came from a day in the park when she thought about chasing something. The photo of her bunny butt really spoke to me, but I asked my family to vote. Three out of five voted for Doris as leaf taste tester, so the bunny butt picture is relegated to "also ran" status. Poor thing! I still think it's handsome, but you know how contests are. I had to go with the most popular picture!
