Settling In Just Fine...
Hi everyone! I wanted to update everyone on our progress over here. If you've seen my blog (my how time flies), you'll know my 10 month old pup and I just made the move to Southern California from San Francisco. He is adjusting so well and I think we're both really going to flourish here.
The above picture is of my workplace, which is amazing enough to encourage the employment of well-behaved furry friends. Jackson's a part of the new crew, alongside a white Boxer and a very bossy Frenchie. They all get along well together, and I am happy to see that Jackson is opening up more to people at the same time.
It is my busy season for travel at work, and I was just in Chicago this past weekend. Jackson had to take his first trip to the boarder, but he seemed to do VERY well. I picked him up today and after a little bit of a cold shoulder, Jackson seems to be sleeping it off. I'm glad to see that he was adequately exercised and socialized! If anyone is in the Long Beach area, I suggest the Mar Mel Inn on Anaheim. Really a treat to have him stay there.
Everything is going smoothly and I hope to set aside some time soon to do late puppy training.. I can't wait for the little guy to be on best behavior all the time. Also, I can't wait for him to be full grown! It's been a long time since he's had a growth spurt, but I know he's got another one in there.
The joys of having this breed are unlike anything else I have known in my young life. Jackson is my companion! I am so tickled to have him work in the office with me and travel whenever possible.
We're taking the day off tomorrow and hitting the beach! I'm crossing my fingers that he starts to get the hang of the water... what a goof!!

Yes! I am so lucky to have been with Paul Frank for three years now. I landed a corporate spot last year and decided to move down to the office because, well, working remotely is TOUGH.
Funny enough, though, we're not in the same office as the Dog Whisperer was filmed at, and we only have three dogs at the office now. I haven't seen the full episode, but I think it was filmed back in 2007 when we were at the BIG office with the dog run, and there were probably 10 dogs in the office.
It's hard to believe that Bella (the white Boxer) was ever anything but an angel. She's amazing and Jackson *loves* her. But we do have a struggle with Bonzai the Frenchie because he is very possessive. And it's hard to tell the President of your company that their dog's a jerk. LOL
But we love it here!!! Jackson has done a total 360 from when I picked him up yesterday....
Hopefully I can get him to doggie model for our next pet shoot. I'll let you guys know!

Ohhh you work at Paul Frank??? How lucky! I saw that episode of Dog Whisperer when Ceaser went there. It was sooo cool. I adore those products!
He'll get used to the water. Stanley loves swimming and splashing around.

Awesome! I seen a youtube video about a month ago from the PF Industries inviting Caesar Millan to come train some of the doggys. It looks like a great place to work. I have an obsession with PF and ♡ Corgi's. I love the whole new dog line too! Conan comes to with me as well but I think he'd love to have a friend like Jackson around ☺. We should have a play date some time.
