I distrust the furminator. Afraid it'll remove too much fur. They need that stuff.

1. Learn to embrace the fur.

2. A little skin and coat supplement, like the kind I use from Foxy treats, may help. http://www.foxytreats.com/store/#ecwid:category=932275&mode=cat...

3. Don't bathe too often. Sid gets a bath maybe three times a year.

I have a slicker wire brush that seems to do a very good job.  She still sheds in between brushings, but I get so much hair out of her even if it's only been a day since I last brushed her.  Of course it doesn't help when I brush her inside, get done, and then she walks right through the large pile of fur...<3

I use the Furminator along with the Furminator shampoo and de-shedding conditioner solution. I think it works great and smells good :-)

I love the lint roller idea, but I also use the furminator and it works great. Just a daily brush and it's all good.

I also always have a king size sheet over my bed to protect from the hair and I shake it out once a day....the hair really flies but it saves on washing!
