Well....Ms. Pippa ("Pip") joined my family yesterday. She is a Corgi/mix rescue found in Fort Worth. She mostly definitely was someones pet. She is well mannered, house trained, knows how to come and go out of the dog door and sits, lays, etc on command! She is half Cash's size and only weighs 20 lbs. They say she is about a year old and is a fiesty little thing. She is alreay running the house in less than 24 hours!! Thinking of renaming her. Any suggestions??

What's the best way to handle shedding? I've been brushing Cash but it doesn't seem to help much.............

There is not an end to the shedding--seriously. However, there is some hope. I bought the Furminator (grooming tool) from Petsmart. It cuts the undercoat, so that your dog won't shed as much. It's good to use it once every week or two.
I've had my Corgi, Dewey, for almost 4 years and I have had some success with a few things. I vac the floor every other day. In the summer, I have him shaved, and the shedding slows down a lot.
Another idea is to give your dog the human vitamin fish oil (the odorless one). The human vitamins have more fish oil in them then the dog vitamins do, which is good for helping with shedding and a shiny coat. I just give him one a day.
