I have a tri-fluffy who really does not shed that much at all. Now, I also have a non-fluffy who is Mr. Shedder!!! I have to vacuum sometimes 2-3 times a day. Has anyone used the furminator shedding tool on a corgi?

I bought a Furminator yesterday - it worked pretty well on both of my corgi's. Jake's shedding is just so different - I am starting to wonder if something is wrong. He is not shedding his undercoat rather he is shedding his hair. If I just softly pet him I get at least 10-20 pieces of his hair in my hand. Jake is 1 1/2 years old so my experience with a shedding corgi is new. My fluffy girl does not shed like Jake. So my question is - is the manner in which Jake is shedding normal? It's like his hair is falling out. Thank you my fellow corgi lovers!

I have a furminator but I also take Izzie to the groomers every few months. I found that if you take her (and my mom's dog, Lily) to get professionally groomed right as she's about to blow her fur for the season, it really limits the amount of fur around the house. I know professional grooming isn't always in the budget for people but I've found it really helps me because Izzie is a pain in the butt with me when I groom/bathe/clip her myself but is an "angel" whenever the groomer lady does her! LOL

YES!!! I have used it and it worked great!!!! I have a red and white Corgi and it seems as if with all the shedding he sheds I can make a million stuffed hair Corgi pillows. Lol. But I didn't buy the Furminator there is one that is like the knock off brand to it that Walmart sells for only like 15 bucks!!! And it works great!!! It looks a little harmful and like a killing machine ha but it works great and Kalvin loves it he even goes on his belly because it feels so good for him!!! Well good lick with whatever you choose to get!!! =D Lots of love Kalvin and Alexis!!!
