Sidney's FHO journey at three months, with video

Sidney had FHO surgery for hip dysplasia three months ago. The vet said he'd be good to play at the dog park after three months, so today we met up with some corgi friends at San Elijo Hills dog park. I'd taken him to the dog park before today, but kept him from full-out running and playing.

Sidney is the corgi with the tail, and his surgery was on his left hind leg. The fur has grown back pretty well and he's not limping anymore. Could you even tell he'd had surgery?

He looks great! And I love the marauding gang of Corgis rush to the fence to sniff at the big dog wandering by. He looks so happy and healthy -- if you hadn't said he was post-surgery, never would have known. Yay!

Sidney looks great - he is so cute and was really telling everyone something wasn't he! We are so happy he is doing so well! Thank you for sharing the video. Since Sophie is facing the FHO surgery sometime in her future I am very interested in how Sidney has done and how well he has recovered - this is so encouraging! Happy for all of you! ^,,^

Awe, looks like he's exclaiming to everyone in the park that he's ready for park playtime again. So happy he's back in full force!

We are so glad Sidney is doing well. You must have a heart that overflows with love with so many who depend on you. Obviously, Sidney is blessed as much as he is a blessing.

Sidney looks great! I'm impressed by how grassy the dog park is; ours always turn into mud pits.
