Peckie my 2 year old Pembroke loooooves to be outside. He will come in the house when I hold the door open for him and call his name....EXCEPT....if I am about to go to work for the night and I am in my navy blue scrubs (I'm an ICU RN) and it's 6:30pm. It doesn't matter if I have a t-bone steak in my hand. He slinks away and hides under the butterfly bush. He then rolls on his back and pees when I come to get him. I then have to pick him up like a baby and carry him into the house. Anyone have any stories like this?

They sure use everything they have to their advantage. Smart little devils. Very smart. I agree with Jane, Corgi's training owners. Hmmm.....We have the same problem except ours is letting them out of the fenced area for the walk on the back 4. If I even turn my body "north", Tru is making a b-line for the door. It's like he sleeps with one eye open.

Ack David I read your post about your clothing (and I'm on my iPhone) and somehow I deleted it with my fat thumbs! Thanks for the story though :)))

No coincidence! They are smart and use this to their advantage, that's why they talk about Corgis training their owners. Wynn will sit by my car or quicky load himself even through my hatchback and if their a crate in the car he will get into that!. He just knows!
