I have been trying to teach Bailie beg but she cant seem to get good enough balance....anyone else have this problem

It takes practice and good treats.  It took Austin a long time to master this, but with the right positioning of the treat over his head he got it and is able to maintain balance.  My other dog, on the other hand,  is much taller, has a tail and has a much more flexible spine, picked up the trick quickly but is unable to maintain it for very long, except when I have bacon.  Then she could stay there forever until the treat is given

I would suggest waiting until she is a little older and has better balance. You don't want to hurt her back. Brodie does it naturally, but he's an adult. Kadi does it sometimes on her own, but even at 7 months, her balance isn't as good as his.
