things my daughter told me
I was having a conversation with my sixteen year old daughter about friends and relationships. she is a social butterfly, flittering around, always in the thick of the action. she asked me, "dad, why don't you hang out with your friends?" my reply, "that's why i have my corgi."

haha I think sometimes my family is concerned because of how much I prefer my Corgi over human interaction.
At my age, most social interactions involve drama, and I'm not into drama.
I still talk to and hang out with my friends but Chase is my favorite companion. He also comes before my people friends. No all nighters for this girl.
