Today I leave Eddy.

In a few hours, I'll drop Eddy off with my sister while my boyfriend and I visit Alaska for a week. Yay, vacation and family. Sob, separation and corgi.

If your sister has other dogs and/or kids then you'll be glad to know that while you're away Eddie will get much attention, love, and exercise. :) You'll be missed but you don't have to worry about him sitting at the door whining the entire time you're gone.

Comment by Natalie, Lance &Tucker on May 20, 2009 at 10:58pm: I know its very hard to leave them, but have fun. The time will fly so fast, we left Lance last October for the first time ever at a pet resort and it was hard but he had a blast!!! Phew, it was nice to hear once we were home!

I left Bertie for two weeks when I took a bike trip in France -- sent him postcards and came this close to calling, but controlled myself! He had a faboo vacation too, as it turned out. But I admit, I bored my fellow bikers to tears with Corgi stories (okay, well, I had to put up with pictures of the kids and stuff, too....)
