today, machete is 4 months old! we’ve had him a little over a month now, and it feels like longer but in the best way possible. he is so smart! and so cuddly, and sweet and just the best little pup there ever was. he’s 3 weeks into puppy kindergarten, and so good at training.  we’re pretty much set on housebreaking, i can count the “accidents” he’s had since we’ve brought him home on one hand and they’ve all been 100% our own fault and not because of him.

he’s getting along better with the cats, he’s growing so fast, his fur is darkening up a bit and he’s getting more of his grown up corgi features.

we got him a special doggie “cookie” at the pet store bakery (provided courtesy of tailbangers) today to celebrate his 4-month corg day and he LOVED it.  of course, he only got about 1/2 for tonight, but once he figured out what it was, and that it was eatable, he was all about it.  

we also had a nice group walk around the neighborhood in the melting snow.  this is one pup who is ALL ABOUT the snow, he loves it. playing, frapping, and using it as his own personal icy toilet… :p

we can’t wait till he’s a much bigger corgi, and full grown, but we’re definitely loving all these adorable puppy days.
