Talked to the breeder today. Jack's flying out here tomorrow night! By this time tomorrow, he should already be here! :] I'm so excited!!! We had a slight hiccup earlier since Jack went to the vet, and the vet found out he developed hematoma at his incision site, but he should be fine with some antibiotics. Which I will now have to learn to feed to him. Haha.
Today I went pet supply shopping. Spent a good... almost $200. And that's without all the crate stuff, and the x-pen! And I still have to buy a dremel for his nails. And probably lots of other things later on too. This (along with the price for him and shipping and stuff) is probably the most money I've spent in a week. But I couldn't be happier! :]
On another note, they need to make some short-dog crates! I would love to put his crate under my desk (since it's right next to my bed), but it'll be difficult to find a crate that will fit under my desk. I kinda want to get him the bigger 36" crate, but that's DEFINITELY not gonna fit under my desk. :\ I bet if crate makers made shorter crates, corgi and dachshund people would go for it for sure! Or even small dog owners that want their dogs to have a bigger crate. Maybe I should go tell them. Haha.
Anyway. I got tons of cleaning and stuff to do before he gets here tomorrow. But I will definitely take pictures of him when he gets here! :]

Yeah! I'm excited for you, Shou! There is a product called 'pill pockets' put out by Greenies. They are great for hiding pills in. You might pick some up today so you don't have to start out with having to shove a pill down his throat. Also, Velveeta works well to hid a pill in and so does peanut butter! LOL
Good luck today! Can't wait for pictures!
Oh my gosh I think I would die if I were late to pick him up. Haha. Since he's coming on a plane, I don't wanna keep him at the airport waiting!
Unfortunately he's taking a late flight over, so the pet store will be closed by the time he arrives. But I might just do that on saturday. :] And yeah, he's had all his shots. Haha. Lucky for me. When we go to the vet, we'll just have to do a routine check up.
Hahaha I get that! I was like that until 4am when I got Ziggy, until I realized that if I slept the time would come faster xD Then I was like, *POOF!* out like a light. Oh my gosh my mom was late (she was taking my brother to meet him too) and so we were thirty minutes behind, I was soooooooo anxious and my head was going to explode lol.
If you're worried about that then maybe take him to the pet store when he gets home and let him pick some toys out? Ultimate welcome home! (I assume he's had all his shots and is able to go out since he's older!:P)
I know!! I'm so excited that I can't sleep! Hahaha. Instead of cleaning like I should, I'm procrastinating, and looking up dog toys, and deciding that he needs more toys since I've only bought him 1 actual toy so far. I'm afraid I'll buy stuff and then he won't like it. But still, he deserves more than just 1 toy!
Yeah! It can't cost them that much more to make a short crate. Lol. I think I'm gonna buy the slightly smaller 30" crate for him. And hope that's enough. I'd probably end up letting him sleep on my bed half the time anyway. Haha.
Oh jeebus how exciting! I bet when you go to pick him up from the airport it's going to be nerve wracking! I would die waiting xD I'd be there super early bouncing around like, "OKAY, COME ON!"
If I were you, I'd hurry to clean and then hit the sack and sleep as long as possible to pass the time xD
Yeah the shorter crate does sound like a good idea just because, well, why NOT?:P
