Rocky came home in fine shape today. There is still a bit of puffiness in his face, but he hasn't been itching or any other unusual behavior. So for now, I'm happy to report that he seems to be ok. He did mess in his kennel today, but I'm cutting him slack since I left his leash at home and couldn't walk him before the ride home from the vet's office. He's never done this (save his first night in it) and hasn't messed in the house all night, so I think it was an accident.

I am not sure if he'll be getting his one year booster on the rabies vaccine, we have yet to decide that with the vet. For now though, he's done with most of his puppy shots. Hopefully heartworm meds don't bother him =D

Also, his obedience lessons have been amazing for him. His cute little face watches me the whole time I have him heeling (because periodically he gets treats, or thinks he may...) such a good boy!

And finally, yesterday was a terrible day to watch "Marly and Me" I cried the whole end of the movie. Not to spoil, but its very sad. I never cry in movies, either.

Way to go Rocky now keep getting better both physically and with your obedience training. Oh and don't scare your mom like that again she was very very worried. Thanks for the update.

I'm glad he's better! That's so scary, and yes, good you were home. I won't watch Marley & Me, I can't stand the two actors -- the book was great though, but I had to make Bertie sit on my lap while I read the end. Somebody tried to drag me to see the indie film Wendy & Lucy (Lucy is a dog!), but I refused to go until I could check the plot online and make sure nothing bad happened to the dog.... I can't bear movies where bad things happen to the animals --

I'm so glad Rocky is on the mend!
And like Lauren, I'll be renting "Marley" and making sure I have a big box of Kleenex handy. I did not see it in theaters because I did not think i'd be in any shape to drive home after seeing it!

The puffy "OMG what's wrong with me" sad face was the worst thing ever. I can't tell you how bad I felt and how upset it made me. I'm just glad I was home at the time so I could get him straight to the vet. If I had gotten this shot for him before work, who knows what would have happened.

yeah I kind of refuse to watch Marley and Me until I get it on DVD for myself and can just be a blubbering mess all alone with Winston.. I am very glad to hear that Rocky is doing much better. What a scare these little puffballs put us through... and they don't even know it!
