hi all!


Maui is doing great! Getting bigger all the time. Past the 4 month mark now. Tonight was the first time she slept with us in the bedroom. So far so good. This won't be an every night thing, but we would like to try and get her used to it and I think she enjoys it more than confinement in the kitchen.

Her eating is a bit strange than what I am used to. Some days she eats one bite every 12 hours and some days her legs are hollow and can't get enough. My breeder says that is normal though. Her manners are working their way up. She can "sit", "sit pretty", "speak" and growls (with and w/o command) and her daddy has her working on "down". Her recall... IS TERRIBLE! Gosh she has her own stubborn streak and will not come when called all the time. Trying to get that down to a T but I need to have the time to work on that, especially outside!
Walks are great! She loves them! She associates leashes with either potty time, playing in the yard or going to visit Nana and Papa (my mom) and Auntie Carmah (mom and dad's dog)! Loves playing with her big long-haired buddy.

Still terrorizing her brothers, Pan and Indy, but I know that she really does like them as she will lay with them and they both groom each other. Indy more so than Pan. She is teething and we found one of her baby teeth in one of Matt's shoes. Yes you read correctly, shee has been chewing our shoes and flip flops. Trying to keep those out of her reach.
