We've had Sally for a year!

We have had Sally for a year now. She has been through so much, and is really doing great! I would say for the first 9 months we had to keep all squeaky toys away, she didn’t really know how to play. She would get very upset when she heard them squeak.As of the last 3 months or so she is totally over that, so I have been having fun getting her new toys. Today I brought home some new toys and within 2 minutes of playing with the dog she had the tail off! Yesterday I came home and their chippy was missing the tail. I have attached pictures. I think she has a thing for animals with tails…she prefers the bunny butt look! Lol One of the other things we are working on is picture taking, she hates the camera! The first time I brought out the camera she ran away from me, now she doesn’t run but still looks away! I’m not sure what to do about that just yet. Anyway, I have enjoyed everyone else’s stories about their corgis and your advice with Sally and Bucher… I will keep you all updated.

Comment by Tim Lum on December 31, 2010 at 12:09pm: Funny you brought up squeaky toys. Rugby my older Tri absolutely 'freaks out' when someone has a toy with a squeaker in it. He will literally climb the walls. No sure why but it must of have been something that happened before we got him. Teagan the younger Tri has a opossum that she plays with that's 'her' toy. The other two are not allowed to play with it and if they do she get mad and has a tantrum.

Comment by Gromit, Sparkle, and Doug on December 30, 2010 at 9:27pm: Dogs are funny creatures. Our wiener dog's favorite toys are little stuffed mallards from Multipet Co. If we give her a new one Holly will pull the feet off straight away and as soon as Gromit can get it he will bite and chew it's head and pull it's stuffing "brains" out. Violent creatures, too!
