I didn't realize how long it has been since I was on last! So much has happened, both good and bad. Thankfully, more good than bad.

My cat Seymour who was over 20 years old just died last week (peacefully) and I think Foxie is having some trouble with his absense. I catch her looking for him in his usual hiding places, she doesn't like it when people leave the house (like maybe we won't come back) and she is very "clingy" when we are home. As a matter of fact, I think she knows I'm talking about her, she just jumped up in my lap for some cuddling.

Foxie has become a wonderful, but quirky, young lady. She is definitely my husband, Mike's, dog and that's probably because he spoils her rotten. Foxie is the Princess in his Castle....lolol!

Our son turns 21 this weekend and our daughter is a Senior so it won't be too much longer before it's just us and the animals. Mike is talking about the possibility of getting another Corgi, he has been looking into Corgi rescue. Something tells me that we are going to be one of those couples that instead of looking to downsize when the kid's leave home we are going to be looking for a place that is more "dog friendly", bigger yard, closer to parks, etc.

Wishing everyone a happy holiday season!!

So sorry to hear about Seymour! The corgis definitely miss their house buddies when they are gone. We got our first corgi when our daughter was a senior in HS and I call them my "empty nester" babies.
