Mauser Marksman aka Little Marker Boy from my Aug 9, 2010 litter by Sian and Marker crossed the bridge Dec. 28, 2010 from Renal complications. This picture was taken during a visit with Mauser and his owner, Bree Babin, the beginning of December. The visit almost got canceled because of snow in my area and I am so thankful Bree was willing to still make the drive, for this is the last time I saw my Little Marker Boy. He has touched the hearts of many on FB and brought many Corgi Lovers together. He will be sadly missed but Never Forgotten!

Though there was a loss yesterday morning and it set a grey cloud over our heads for many, by the end of the day brought hope. Meagan delivered 6 beautiful, healthy, vibrant puppies and we do believe Mauser was there to help. 2 male puppies of sable coloring with white on their necks and a stripe down their faces like Mauser. Meagan and Crushers litter was the litter Bree originally wanted a pup from but fell in love with Mauser from all of my posts on FB how I was helping him fight for his life for the first few weeks. Now he leaves us and in return 6 healthy DM Clear puppies later that day.

Keep Bree in your prayers so her heart heals and these pups have a long, healthy, happy life.

Priscilla, I looked at the pictures of the litter and Mauser is the only one with a tail.  I know sometimes breeders will not dock an individual puppy who is not very strong--- sometimes even a whole litter.  Perhaps this was the case with Mauser?

So sorry to hear the pup didn't make it, and here's hoping the new litter does well!

So sad to lose a puppy.

You're breeding DM clear Pems?  Good work.  I recall a breeder at Dr. Coates' seminar (Seattle last fall) saying that few breeders, if they're even testing, are disclosing their genotypes, with the result that the test is being underutilized.  ??

We want the one white paws.
