Tammey told me that I must post this photo as a WHERE'S BEAR.  I argued that know one would ever know this location!  But she said "Hey some of the MyCorgiers might have this location on thier car's license plate."

I should know better than to argue with her.

My dogs would just love that area, but I'm afraid to take them and Lori would never let me.

I was in the Fins area of the Maze district in Canyonlands National Park, when suddenly this big black THING silently rounded a rock, walking straight towards me.  !!!!  It turned out to be a very well-behaved solid coal-black border collie illegally snuck into the park by a young couple with more moxie than I.  They said the dog learned quickly to avoid nasty plants, like the yucca called "Spanish bayonets" that can draw blood if you blunder into it.  That's one of the less-objectionable plants.  Then there are the animals....

Wilson Arch?  Is that the one just SE of Moab not too far from that obscene  "Hole-'N-the-Wall" tourist trap nearby?  Shoot, I shoulda remembered, been by that many times.

At the tourist trap, where they painted "Hole-'N-the-Wall" in huge white letters on the cliff, we wanted to rapell down in the dead of night to add three letters in front of "Hole".

If you ever have time back there, there's a neat museum in Blanding (Edge of the Cedars) and I think there's one in Monticello, too.

I don't think that's corgi-friendly country.  Too many well-armed plants, reptiles and arthropods.

I am going to have to give this one to John because I am not going back to Utah any time soon!  Couldn't find any good Mexican food in the whole state.  Also, as a true Texan I expect it to snow one day and be gone the next. I truely didn't know what those numbers on the thermometer below 60 where used for out side of the refridgerator.  Anyway, That is the Wilson Arch and it has been Corgi marked.  Good job John!!!

Garden of the Gods? Either way he looks cute with that backdrop.

I'm guessing it's the Delicate Arch sandstone formation. What a gorgeous photo!

uhhh...a sandstone arch in Utah?  But you gotta go back now and re-take the photo. Step back a bit and show us more. There's a lot of arches in Utah. He's trying to telepath the location with the Corgi Mind Control Stare, but there's too much jpeg compression.
He really does have a wild-looking coat pattern -- doesn't have the white splashes of white ventral side. He looks like a wild animal.
