I'm looking for something my 15 week old Pembroke and 3 year old beagle foxhound can chew on that's healthy, not made in China (which goes without saying) won't break apart and cause a choking hazard, and will last for quite awhile. Do you recommend Deer Antlers ?
What about the ones at this website: Dog Antlers

I find the antlers very popular at my house and they last a long time. It took them awhile to really get into them but they now really like them.
my two do nto care for them, but they love cow hooves. Their breeder recommended them and they last forever.
Don't *buy* them, shoplift them. Nobody gonna say nuthin'. Corgis are too cute to mess with.
Torri loves deer antlers; expensive, but they last a long time, so a relative bargain.
Lucy likes her deer antler, but she loves the Himalayan Chew--a bar of compressed yak's milk. Lasts a long time.
Becca has an elk antler going, her second one. They last well and don't smell at all. The only problem so far happened tonight. She got a little piece caught between her teeth. She was wrinkling her lips and rubbing her face on a throw rug before I figured it out. She got it out about the same time I got to her.
I just bought an elk antler for Chewey a couple weeks ago... He has yet to touch it ;-< Bummer because they aren't cheap, although I'm sure I can find a dog friend to give it to. He liked Himalayan Chews for awhile as well (which was great because they lasted awhile), but he seems to have lost interest in those... So far the only thing he seems to like that lasts a reasonable amount of time is rawhide. He loves bully sticks but he destroys one of those in about 10-15 minutes and given the price (not to mention the smell) he probably won't be getting those all too often...
My dogs LOVE them. I bought two antlers, for four dogs, about 6 months ago. Neither is even half gone. I think I like them more than they do....they don't stink, and they don't leave rawhide gunk on the furniture.
My dogs loved it so much they lost it while battling for it.
Murray didn't like them either.
